ABSTRACT
Se presentó un caso de 63 años, femenina, que acude a consulta por historia de astenia, pérdida de peso e hipotensión de un año de evolución, añadiéndose en los últimos meses hiperpigmentación generalizada de piel y mucosas. Se interna en el Hospital Universitario Clínico Quirúrgico Comandante Faustino Pérez Hernández para estudio, donde se concluye como una enfermedad de Addison, con una respuesta satisfactoria al tratamiento específico.
We present the case of a female patient, aged 63 years, assisting the consultation for asthenia, weight loss and hypotension a year of evolution, adding in the last months generalized hyperpigmentation of the skin and mucosae. She was admitted in the teaching Clinic-Surgical Hospital Faustino Pérez Hernández for study, where we arrived to the conclusion that it was Adisson disease, showing a satisfactory answer to the specific treatment.
